RETURN & REFUND POLICY
We want you to have complete confidence in your Wild Yak Battery purchase. To maintain the highest quality control standards for high-capacity energy storage equipment, we enforce a strict 30-Day Return and Refund Policy.
1. 30-DAY RETURN ELIGIBILITY WINDOW
You have up to 30 days from the original shipping date to request a return for a refund. To qualify for a formal return authorization, the product must be returned in its original, pristine condition. Due to safety regulations governing lithium-ion technology, any product that has been installed, connected to an electrical system, or mounted onto a vessel/vehicle is instantly disqualified from being returned or refunded.
2. STRICT RETURN QUALIFICATIONS
An item will only be accepted for a refund if it meets 100% of the following criteria:
* The battery must be in brand-new, completely unused, and uninstalled condition.
* The battery must be enclosed in its original factory packaging (including the certified UN-rated outer carton and protective structural foam), complete with all included hardware, accessories, manuals, and terminal caps.
* The original factory Serial Number (SN) label must be completely intact, unaltered, and legible.
Ineligible Items:
Any returns exhibiting cosmetic scuffs, terminal screw scratches, terminal burn marks, or housing alterations will be rejected at our warehouse and returned to the customer at their own expense, with no refund issued. All approved refunds are subject to a flat 5% restocking fee, deducted from the total refund amount.
3. RETURN SHIPPING & HAZARDOUS MATERIALS (HAZMAT) LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Due to federal and international shipping regulations, returning a high-capacity lithium battery requires strict legal compliance:
* Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA):
Prior to dispatching any return shipment, you must contact support@wildyakbattery.com to secure an approved RMA number. Unauthorized packages arriving at our facilities without an active RMA will be summarily rejected and refused.
* Logistics Fees:
The customer assumes full financial and legal responsibility for all return shipping fees, carrier insurance, and tracking costs. Original shipping charges incurred at the time of purchase are completely non-refundable.
* HazMat Regulations:
High-capacity lithium batteries (UN3480) are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods (Hazardous Materials) under DOT, FAA, and IATA regulations. They must be packaged in certified UN-spec boxes, wrapped in static-free protection, and correctly labeled with mandatory hazardous materials decals. It is the customer's legal obligation to arrange shipment via a certified HazMat carrier (such as an authorized FedEx Office or UPS Store location). Wild Yak Battery assumes no liability for items lost, damaged, destroyed, or seized by authorities during return transit.
