WARRANTY POLICY

At Wild Yak Battery, we engineer our products to the highest industry standards, utilizing Grade A+ lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells and intelligent Battery Management Systems (BMS). We stand firmly behind our craftsmanship and offer a 10-Year Limited Warranty on all standard lithium battery models, effective from the original date of purchase.

1. SCOPE OF COVERAGE
This limited warranty is non-transferable and applies strictly to the original retail purchaser ("Original Owner"). It covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal, proper, and intended operating conditions. If a component is verified by our engineering team to have a factory defect, Wild Yak Battery will, at its sole discretion, either repair the component or issue a replacement. Warranties can be utilized for an exchange or repair of a component only once per order.

2. CRITICAL WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS (WHAT IS NOT COVERED)
This warranty does NOT cover product failures, capacity loss, or damages resulting from external operational factors, environmental hazards, or user maintenance neglect. The warranty will be deemed immediately VOID if the product exhibits evidence of any of the following:

* Severe Over-Discharge & Low-Voltage Deadlock:
Any battery with an open-circuit voltage reading that drops below the critical safety threshold (e.g., individual cell or total pack voltage depleted due to lingering device drainage, constant parasite loads, unswitched electronics, or failure to recharge the battery immediately after use). Irreversible chemical damage, cell copper-plating, or permanent hardware-level BMS lockdown caused by lingering discharge is strictly excluded from factory warranty coverage.

* Connection Misconfiguration & Lack of Balancing Maintenance:
Damage arising from connecting batteries in series or parallel setups (e.g., 24V, 36V, or 48V banks) without individually charging each unit to 100% full prior to configuration. Furthermore, multi-battery banks require regular separate maintenance to balance system voltage壓差; failure to perform this balancing maintenance, leading to accelerated cell degradation or localized BMS burnout, voids the warranty.

* Incompatible Charging Equipment:
Utilizing chargers without a specific LiFePO4 profile, or attempting to revive/wake a dormant battery using lead-acid chargers operating on "Repair," "Boost," "Engine Start," or "Desulfation" modes. These high-voltage pulse surges induce catastrophic hardware destruction to the internal circuitry.

* Missing or Altered Serial Numbers (SN):
All warranty evaluations require a valid, intact, factory-applied Serial Number label. If the SN code on the battery housing is missing, defaced, scratched off, altered, or unreadable, the product will be deemed strictly ineligible for any technical support, analysis, or replacement services.

* Environmental & Mechanical Abuse:
Damage caused by severe physical vibration, dropping, accidental impact, loose terminal connections (resulting in high contact resistance, arcing, or melted terminals), fire, freezing temperatures during charging operations, or prolonged moisture condensation/submersion.

* Unauthorized Modifications:
Any Do-It-Yourself (DIY) repairs, opening of the battery casing, or alterations to the original wiring and BMS firmware without explicit written consent from Wild Yak Battery.

3. WARRANTY INSPECTION & LOGISTICS PROTOCOL
In accordance with our standard operating procedures, customers are fully responsible for all return shipping costs, logistics fees, and insurance associated with sending components back for factory inspection. Wild Yak Battery is not responsible for return shipping expenses under any circumstances. Replacement components or repaired units will only be prepared and shipped after our technical department has received the returned item and concluded a formal diagnostic inspection to determine the root cause of the failure.
